Wisdom of God
Eph 3:9-11, Before Christ the wisdom of God was hidden in God's word. So it was not made known to us, the Gentiles. But Jesus Christ came and revealed it to us, aliens and Gentiles, so we could made it known to all. The righteousness requirements of the word of God that He give to Moses. Now since Jesus paid the price for sin, the only thing left is the blessing for those who serve. This knowledge of God could not be proclaimed before Jesus Christ came. The Jews knew the righteous requirements but the law did not allow it to be proclaimed to us. The Jews always would let us come, eat, be clothed and other blessings because it was the way of God. (Deut10:18-19) Even back when they came out of Egypt, if one of us find out that God wanted us to serve him at the three feasts and did so, God would pardon us. (2 Chr 30:18-20) [I was told it was not possible to be pardoned back then.] So why did Christ come? This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are members together of one body with Israel three times a year. (Deut 16:14-17) When a man falls away and the beginning of falling away is falling from the three feasts, the righteous requirements. Rom 8:3 says Jesus died to remove the curse that was keeping the righteousness of God from being proclaimed. Rom 8:4, 2 Chr 30:17 So Jesus died in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who believe in Jesus Christ. The Jews would help us and we see God always helps us. (2 Chr 30:17, Deut 10:18-19) When we read 2 Chr 30:2-9, God's children have fallen away or you could say being stiff necked, unwilling to submit to the word of God. (2 Chr 30:12) This is why Rom 1:16, Salvation for everyone who serves God first, also why Paul told the church to set aside a sum of money each week to send to Jerusalem. (1 Cor 16:1-3) Paul taught, we owe it to the Jews. (Rom 15:27) So if we owe it to the Jews and we don't give it to them, them we are robbing them, and that is the same as robbing God, for Paul was only say what God says. Lets remember Paul would only have had the old testament scrolls to teach from. (2 Chr 30:8) The wrath of God is being revealed if the Jews don't repent of not serving God first, God will not be second. (Rom 1:17) God revealed the faith He will be looking for when He returns, a faith that God calls righteousness that is by faith, you could say first to God house, or kingdom and then to your town. The righteous will live by faith. As we see God does not show favoritism to Jews or to Gentile. And first to God also revealed God wrath for Jesus die so the righteousness of God could be revealed to all so men would be without excuse. (Rom 1:18-20, Rom 2:13) It is the beginning of the falling away not to serve the law (Rom 2:25 -27) We, Gentiles, that keep the law will condemn the Jews if they are not doing the requirements of the law. Understand a men is not a Jew because of only his heritage but God says there are requirements to being a Jew and we see this as far back as you want to go God does not show favoritism.
Rom 2:10-13
10but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. 11For God does not show favoritism.
12All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. 13For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous.
Rom 2:25-27 25Circumcision has value if you observe the law, but if you break the law, you have become as though you had not been circumcised. 26So then, if those who are not circumcised keep the law’s requirements, will they not be regarded as though they were circumcised? 27The one who is not circumcised physically and yet obeys the law will condemn you who, even though you have the written code and circumcision, are a lawbreaker.
This is the knowledge of the son of God and the knowledge of the beginning of sin
Heb10:26-29 26If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. 28Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?
This can be summed up with Mark 12:29-31
29“The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
