Why Did Jesus Die?
Rom 8:3-4
Paul said the Son of God died so that the righteous requirements of the law that God give Moses might be fully met in us, the Gentiles.
What is the requirement? The most important one is love the Lord your God. (Mark12:29-30 NIV) What requirements are there to loving God? What does it mean to love our God? (Deut 6:4 and 7:9) God says if we love Him, we will keep His commands and sent Jesus die thereby removing the curse that man causes to come and brings us from the righteousness of God. Jesus died so we can be doer of the righteous requirements. (Rom8:3-4) Now Paul teaches: it is a sin not to be a doer of the righteousness of God (Heb 10:26-29). If we keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, which is that Jesus died so we can choose to be doer of God word, and if we rejected the law that God give Moses, we treat Jesus like his death means nothing, we trampled the Son of God and His blood under foot. That what is written.
The New Covenant is that God sent His Son to die so the curse of the law could be removed and than the righteous of the law that God give Moses could be put in our hearts and write in are minds. Heb 10:16-17, we know faith without works is dead to God. We also know works without faith is dead faith in Jesus.
Some of the Jews have been broken off so we, Gentiles, can be grafted in some of the Jews are doers of God word without faith in Jesus. (Rom 11:19) Some of the Jews will experience a little hardening in part until we, Gentiles, come in and then God will remove the veil that He put on the Jews for us. All the Jews will be saved. (Rom 11:25-26) Now the righteous requirements are summed up by Jesus into the first commandment. (Mark 12:29-31) But what is it saying? Put God first. How? Paul instructs us (Rom 1:16-17) Paul says first love the Jews. God says salvation is for everyone who does first for the Jews. This is putting God first. Since we are no longer rejecting the law of Moses and God doesn't show favoritism, we will be saved, we will be grafted into the root Israel. (Rom 2:10-11)
2 Chr 30:5
5They decided to send a proclamation throughout Israel, from Beersheba to Dan, calling the people to come to Jerusalem and celebrate the Passover to the Lord, the God of Israel. It had not been celebrated in large numbers according to what was written.
This is my calling. I am calling on all to unite with Israel. Those who are with me or without me. I don't care how we do it.
(2 Chr 30:6 and 12) The Jews need to put God first at Jerusalem doing the three feasts. It is a requirement for all God does not show favoritism. Why does God want to be first?
(Heb 12:22) God calls Jerusalem the heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the living God. This is why Paul teaches to set aside a sum of money to send to Jerusalem (1 Cor16:1-3) this is also the teaching of God word in Deut16:14-17. This is the word of God, the word that God give Moses. Paul had all the church to be doer of the word because if we love God we will always be doer of His word and when we look at 2 Chr 30:12, God hand is in carrying out His word. God does not show favoritism just look at 2 Chr 30:18-19, God pardons them all. Gentiles and Jews if they return to God, if they seek first God and first do for God is the most important commandment. (Deut 6:4-5, Mark 12:29-30, Deut10:18-19 and 11:1) And as we know according to God if we rejected the law of Moses, we rejected Jesus. And it does not matter what man says: God is God. And He and His goodness does not change since the creation of the the world. All that are His will do for Jerusalem first. (Rom 1:19-20) Paul says again in Rom 15:25-27 that the Gentiles owe it to the Jews or you can say to God first in Jerusalem. Jerusalem being the key to understanding Matt 6:33 and Matt 7:20-21. These verses say they will recognize you by your fruit, they are the Jews in God's city. Now we know why Paul says the mystery of Christ revealed through the gospel is that the Gentiles church are one body, one member, together with Israel. Eph 3:4-7 again, this is the teaching of the word. So we go to the word to see when we do this. (Deut 16:14-17) Paul says he is a servant of this gospel in Eph 3:7. It says the same thing in Rom 1:16-17. God intent was that through the church this wisdom would be made known to the heavenly realms according to God eternal purpose. (Eph 3:10-11) There so much to the first commandment, when all put God word first, it shows we love God first of all and God's eternal purpose is in it. It brings the Jews and Gentiles together. We see this as for back as for as we want to go.
The thing the curse did was prevent the gospel of God's righteousness could not be taught but now that the curse has been taken away by the Son of God! It will be made known to all! To the church of the firstborn! Paul when he taught the church to send gifts to Jerusalem, they could send it with some one or take it directly themselves. This shows God, we have reverence for His word. (Heb 12:23) In Rom 9:30-32, some of the Jews pursued the law of Moses by works. But the Gentiles pursue it by by faith and receive its righteousness by being doer of the law. (Rom 1:17) The righteous will live by faith to faith or we can say first to the Jews and than to the Gentiles which is first to Jerusalem and than to home. Now Jesus said the first commandment is to love God first and than those at home all over the world. In Rom 11:25, we see Jesus will not come back until the full number of Gentiles comes into Israel. (Rom 2:13 and 10-11)
(Heb 9:14) Jesus died so we can serve God . (Rom 8:4) Jesus died so we could be a doer of the righteous requirement of the law. (Deut 11:1 and 26) The Old Covenant was two parts: blessing and curse but Jesus died removing the curse. Deut 11:28 so if we rejected the law that God give Moses we rejected the way of our Father and we rejected the reason Jesus came. (Heb 10:28-29, Heb10:16) And then Jesus replaced the curse with the word if we choose to serve. (Heb10:17)
